.The Lady Comes to the Gate Shangrila n. - 1. An imaginary remote paradise on earth; Utopia. 2. A distant and secluded hideaway, usually of great beauty and peacefulness.
Hello and welcome to my own personal hideaway on the internet. This journal hosts of my thoughts, musings, artwork, icons, writings as well as an occasional bit of nerdiness over one thing or another (usually art, theatre, or history). I also urge you not to be shy and feel free comment on anything here- I'm always looking for new people to chat with on the internet!. Searching the Waves for Love
Birthday: Sept. 28 Occupation: Graphic Designer/Illustrator Colors of Choice: Blues and Violets Personality Type: INFP Zodiac Sign: Libra Enneagram: Type 4 Languages Currently Studying: German, Spanish (I'm quite rusty though)
A Bit of Elaboration: I'm a young woman currently living in Virginia, USA. I'm currently working as a Graphic Designer, but my real love is Illustration- which I create in my spare time. I've always had slightly nerdy, bookworm tendencies so you may see me write about a great book or a fantastic piece of art every so often. Currently, I've been very enamoured by stage musicals- particularly European ones. I should also mention that I'm a bit of a dreamer- in both the literal and figurative sense. In other words, you can expect some crazy dream posts from me.
